The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, established in 1969 and headquartered in New York, operates as a non-profit organization comprising media professionals from over 60 countries. The Academy is also responsible for organizing the annual International Emmy Awards, which honor outstanding achievements across a diverse range of genres, including drama, comedy, news, and children’s programming.
