New Ondo CP assumes duty, promises criminals hell - Blueprint Newspapers Limited

 The new Ondo state Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Lawal, Wednesday assumed duty with a call to all stakeholders to assist the police in tackling security challenges in the state.

Adebowqle, who appreciated the Inspector General of Police, IG Kayode Egbetokun for the opportunity accorded him to serve on the new assignment, promising that he would bring professionalism to bear in the discharge of his duty.

The police boss also promised a robust working relationship with other security agencies in the state at tackling security matters in the state.

While exchanging baton with the new CP at the police headquarters in Akure, the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, appreciated the IGP for the opportunity accorded him to serve as the 45th CP in the state.

The outgoing CP disclosed that 70% of information at the disposal of the police to process and tackle security matters were gotten from the people, with the trust of protecting their identity.
