The incident occurred one evening when Lauren was carrying her infant downstairs in a moses basket after bath time. As she descended, she tripped on her cat. Although Lauren managed to maintain her balance and hold onto the moses basket, she was horrified to realize that her daughter had rolled down each step of the stairs.
