For Gabby's Dollhouse fans who were able to have a "CAT-tastic" experience at your local children's museum earlier this year—and for those still awaiting theirs—we have good news: Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days is getting new activation dates.
In a joint press release on July 9, 2025, DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children's Museums (ACM) unveiled 19 new cities to the year-long partnership, first launched at Brooklyn Children’s Museum in late January. The expansion includes New Orleans, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, among other cities, and will include a return to New York City.
While reservation details vary by location, new activation dates and cities include:
DreamWorks Animation
Phase one of Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days was a big hit over the first half of 2025, with an ACM report indicating a 50% average increase in admission across the first 26 participating museums. Themed activation offerings include a range of activity stations, scavenger hunts, story times, crafting, and Gabby costume character appearances.
According to the report, over 34,000 fans to date have had the opportunity to participate in a meet and greet with Gabby as part of the program. And with Gabby's Dollhouse continuing to expand into new mediums, including a live show and a big screen movie coming this fall, this interactive museum experience will keep the fun going.
“ACM is delighted that our MEOWseum Discovery Days partnership with DreamWorks Animation is bringing more of its heartwarming and memorable experiences to more museums around the country for the second half of the year,” says Arthur G. Affleck III, President and CEO Association of Children's Museums. “In addition to seeing increased attendance of more than 50% at children’s museums on the date the Meet & Greet events are held, ACM is thrilled with how well Gabby embodies how learning and fun go hand-in-hand. There's hardly a better place for her than in children's museums.”
Families can purchase tickets for continuing activations now and find more information on local events at the Gabby's Dollhouse website.
