Historic International Partnership Continues with Cross-League Player Participation

[United States/Philippines] - The National Basketball League-United States (NBL-US) is proud to announce its continued partnership with the National Basketball League-Pilipinas (NBL-Pilipinas) by sending a group of elite players to compete in the prestigious NBL-Pilipinas President's Cup, scheduled to take place from September to December 2025.

This landmark collaboration reflects the deepening relationship between the two basketball leagues, which began in 2020 with a shared vision to empower homegrown and emerging basketball talent in both countries. Over the last five years, the partnership has flourished, resulting in strengthened player development pipelines, cultural exchange, and international exposure for rising athletes.

In 2025, the partnership enters a dynamic new phase, as NBL-US players will officially take part in the competitive NBL-Pilipinas season. In return, the NBL-US will host selected NBL-Pilipinas players in its own season beginning in 2026, offering them a platform to experience American-style basketball and connect with scouts, coaches, and fans in the U.S.
