The Washington Wizards have acquired 26-year-old former international 6-10 forward Marvin Bagley III from Duke for the upcoming season. This marks his return to the Wizards, as he has previously played for the team. He averaged 4.4ppg and 2.6rpg during 15 NBA games last season.
In 2018, the Sacramento Kings selected him as the second overall pick in the NBA draft. Bagley attended Duke University and this will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
He was a member of the USA international program for some years. Bagley was called to USA Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for the Under 16 National Team in 2015.
He has played for the Detroit Pistons before.
Bagley's team finished as regular season runner-up in the ACC in 2018. He received both the All-ACC Player of the Year and All-ACC Rookie of the Year awards during his college career in 2018.
