Information and communication technology minister Emma Theofelus underscored the crucial role of digital creators in elevating Namibia's global image. Speaking at the MTC Content Creator Awards held in Windhoek on Saturday, Theofelus articulated the ministry's steadfast commitment to championing 'Brand Namibia' by spotlighting local culture, inherent talent, and unique products. She emphasized that content creators are an indispensable part of this mission, actively shaping both local and international perceptions of Namibia.

John Ekongo, corporate affairs manager for Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC), echoed this sentiment during the event, highlighting the profound importance of fostering and supporting local production.
