Music & NFL Power Couple Expecting: Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Pregnancy with Josh Allen!

Hailee Steinfeld celebrated her 29th birthday this week by sharing 29 cherished moments from the past year, culminating in a heartwarming reveal: she and husband Josh Allen are expecting their first child. In her Beau Society newsletter, aptly titled “This is 29!!,” Steinfeld listed “29 moments I loved this year… in no particular order,” which included personal milestones like attending her first college football game and the professional joy of returning to the recording studio, rekindling her passion for music creation. The most anticipated revelation, however, was her final favorite moment, presented as a sweet home video. This clip featured her Buffalo Bills quarterback husband, Josh Allen, gently cradling her growing baby bump in a snowy field, concluding with the adorable unveiling of a tiny snowman, symbolizing their soon-to-be-born child. The couple later shared this touching video on Instagram, allowing fans a glimpse into their joyous news.
The journey to this significant announcement follows a romantic timeline for the actress/singer and the NFL star. Steinfeld and Allen were first romantically linked in the spring of 2023, after being seen dining together in New York City. Their relationship progressed, leading to an engagement last year, and they exchanged vows in a Southern California ceremony in June. Early in their relationship, Allen had confirmed their romance but had also requested privacy regarding Steinfeld’s name when speaking with The Associated Press, underscoring their desire to maintain a degree of personal space amidst their public lives.
Beyond her personal milestones, Steinfeld’s professional life has also seen notable developments. Her recent mention of getting back into the recording studio likely refers to her contributions to the music for April’s film “Sinners.” In this Ryan Coogler-directed movie, Steinfeld co-starred alongside Michael B. Jordan. She specifically spoke to Billboard about her song “Dangerous,” which is featured on the “Sinners” soundtrack. Steinfeld co-wrote “Dangerous” with Sarah Aarons and Ludwig Göransson, the film’s composer, who recently garnered a Golden Globe nomination for best score. She described the creative process as a “really fluid creative loop,” attributing this to her dual role as both an actor within the story and a contributor to its musical landscape.
Steinfeld’s musical endeavors are not new; she has released several tracks over the years, achieving considerable success. Between 2015 and 2017, she secured five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her most prominent musical success during this period was the song “Starving” with Grey, featuring Zedd, which peaked at No. 12 on the chart in 2016, showcasing her versatility and talent across both acting and music industries.
