Apple TV+'s adaptation of is filled with notable actors who bring the psychopathic and oddball characters of Martha Wells' books alive. Murderbot follows the titular robot Murderbot (Alexander Skarsgård) as he awkwardly interacts with humans and forms genuine bonds with them. Violent title aside, Murderbot is a heartfelt and hilarious comedy filled with colorful characters, a fascinating conspiracy, and a dark past behind the socially awkward eponymous robot. Those elements are blended together so well that Murderbot is easily one of the best shows on Apple TV+, and one of Alexander Skarsgård's best roles as well.

Since the Murderbot Diaries books are so layered and heartfelt, Murderbot had a difficult time finding the right actors to play such complicated characters. Luckily, Apple TV+'s show brought together a star-studded cast of character actors and leading talent. Because of the actors involved, Murderbot is one of the better book adaptations in recent memory, and each of the show's characters feel fully realized. That has helped Murderbot achieve a rare 100% on Rotten Tomatoes after the first 15 reviews, so the cast is worth getting to know.
