Multivista Partners Kiloskar Powergen to enhance Nigeria"s energy sector
Multivita West Africa Limited, a manufacturer of power generating sets, has partnered Kirloskar Powergen, for better visibility of its products in the Nigerian market.
Speaking at an event in Lagos, Global President, Powergen Business Kirloskar Powergen, Madan Patil, said Kirloskar Powergen sets itself apart with groundbreaking engineering that establishes new industry benchmarks.
“In Kirloskar Powergen, we have strong technology and innovations, bringing efficiency in the power industry at large.
“We noticed that our presence in the market has been low, which is the reason we decided to partner with Multivista to increase our presence in the Nigeria market and world at large.”
The Director, Multivista West Africa Limited, Mahesh Jayaraman, said the company has been in India for over 100 years and in the last 15 to 20 years, it has been spreading aggressively across the globe, now operating in over 60 countries globally.
He said in Africa, Multivista is present in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and has decided to establish in Nigeria because Nigeria is the largest market for generators in Africa.
He added that Multivista products have been well received in the market in the last two years. “I think it is the right time for us to showcase our new technology as we launch our newest smallest 1000 kv generator, which is officially going to be available in Nigeria markets very soon.
