Mr. Iguana is the talk of the wrestling world following his multiple appearances on WWE programming as of late.

During a recent interview with Línea Directa TV, Mr. Iguana said WWE told him he was going straight to the main roster. Although that interview has since been edited, once quotes like that are out there, they aren’t going away. But is there any heat?

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), WWE is finalizing a deal with Mr. Iguana to make him the newest member of their roster.

Despite what has been said elsewhere, Sapp hasn’t heard whether or not Iguana has any heat for the comments he made in that recent interview.

We rarely see a masked wrestler without his mask in public. However, it’s a lot more common to see a wrestler without their face paint.

A recent backstage photo of the AAA star hit the internet this week of him backstage with WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. This seemingly took place backstage at Worlds Collide.
