Speaking during a church service at AIC Baraka in Mumbuni, Machakos Town, Governor Ndeti issued a stern warning that the president's inner circle was actively damaging his reputation through constant political blunders and personal greed. She stressed that President Ruto himself would be held accountable for the missteps of those surrounding him, urging them to cease their disruptive actions.

Governor Ndeti explicitly told President Ruto and his associates to stay out of Machakos county's matters, emphasizing that attempts by his people to meddle with her administration would not be tolerated. She warned that if the interference continued, the people of Ukambani would not welcome Ruto with the respect he might expect.
