Mother of 9 by 4 Dads Defies Trolls, Plans 10th Child Amid Backlash

Whittney Dawn, a 27-year-old mother from the US, has become a subject of widespread discussion after revealing her desire to have a tenth child, despite already having nine children with four different fathers. Her journey into motherhood began at the age of 16, and she has since welcomed a child almost every year, fulfilling her long-held wish for a large family.
Her extensive family includes Brandon, 10, Kinley, 9, Namaya, 8, Dawson, 7, twins Cambriella and Camden, 5, Octavia, 4, Liam, 3, and two-month-old Kyus. Whittney's relationships have evolved over the years; her second partner embraced Brandon as his own, and together they had three children. Following that relationship, she had twins with another man. She has now found stability with her fourth partner and husband, William, with whom she shares three biological children and hopes to expand their family further.
According to Whittney, William was highly supportive and accepting of her already large family, loving her children as his own from the very beginning. This sentiment has been a cornerstone of their relationship, particularly in the face of public scrutiny.
Whittney's decision to continue growing her family has attracted significant attention and a barrage of negative comments across her social media platforms. Critics frequently advise her to "keep my legs closed" or question her knowledge of birth control, often asking why she is "popping out babies like you're popping money from an ATM?" Despite the backlash and even warnings from her own family against having another child, Whittney remains defiant, stating, "Make me," in response to her detractors. She acknowledges that she will eventually stop having children, but the exact timing remains uncertain for her.
The viral YouTube video featuring Whittney's story garnered over 11,000 views, prompting a flood of diverse reactions. Many commenters expressed concern for the children, highlighting potential issues such as an inability to give each child sufficient individual attention, the "parentification" of older siblings, and living in a potentially "little house" with so many occupants. While some acknowledged that wanting a big family is acceptable if one can financially support them all, others were more critical of her having four different fathers for her children, deeming it "nothing to brag about."
