Popular comedian MCA Tricky, born Francis Munyao, marked his 35th birthday in style with a trip to his upcountry home in Machakos County.

The comedian, who rose to fame after overcoming a challenging life on the streets, celebrated this milestone surrounded by close friends and family in a lively event.

The star invited a few friends, including renowned comedians Chipukeezy and Churchill, who played pivotal roles in launching his comedy career.

Chipukeezy shared glimpses of the event, giving fans a sneak peek of the cheerful celebrations.

The day was filled with festivities as guests shared food, enjoyed drinks, prepared meat, and cut a birthday cake to honour the comedian on his special day.

MCA Tricky himself took to social media, expressing gratitude for his journey and cheekily asking his followers:

"How old do I look?"

Churchill, his mentor, also penned a warm birthday message, praising MCA Tricky’s transformation:

"From chokora to a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, here’s to more makalatasi and laughter. Happy Birthday, MCA Tricky!"

Amid the celebrations, one of the standout moments was the view of MCA Tricky's rural mansion, currently under construction.

The six-bedroom bungalow, which holds deep sentimental value to him, is nearing completion.

The house boasts a spacious design, a key factor in MCA Tricky's decision to build a bungalow instead of a storey house.

In the past, the comedian explained that he wanted a home large enough to host his extended family during visits.

In the background of the birthday festivities, the house appeared almost complete, with the roof installed, windows fitted, and walls plastered.

However, the walls are still drying, and final touches like painting and finishing are yet to be done.

Construction workers were spotted on-site, ensuring the progress continued.
