This assertion is supported by robust tourism figures, with 1,008,098 tourists having visited the island nation between January and September 2025. Furthermore, recent data for the period spanning January to December 27, 2025, indicates a negligible number of reported theft cases involving foreign nationals.

Analysis of these isolated incidents reveals that they are non-violent and opportunistic in nature, without suggesting any organized or systemic threats to visitors.
