Massive £90,000 Alcohol Heist Shocks Shotts High Street

Detectives in Lanarkshire have launched an appeal for information following a significant theft of high-value alcohol. The incident, which saw whisky and liqueurs valued at an estimated £90,000 stolen, occurred around 2.50am on Sunday, November 9. A trailer containing the precious cargo was taken from within a secure premises located on High Street in Shotts.
Detective Constable Christine McLanachan is spearheading the investigation and has issued a public plea for assistance. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to come forward with information. Furthermore, individuals with private CCTV or dash-cam footage are asked to check their recordings, as any captured material could be vital in assisting police enquiries.
