Boil water advisory Prince George’s County has been issued by WSSC Water after a 16-inch water main break near the Cheverly Metro station in Hyattsville. Over 11,200 residents in Cheverly, Capitol Heights, and Seat Pleasant are urged to boil tap water for one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. No homes are currently without water, and a free water distribution center is open in Cheverly. WSSC Water will lift the advisory once testing confirms the water is safe.
