Marriage Meltdown: Regina Daniels Accuses Ned Nwoko of Domestic Violence Amidst Public Outcry

Actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, are reportedly experiencing significant marital trouble, with allegations of violence taking center stage. A video that has gone viral across social media platforms shows Regina Daniels in distress, crying out and accusing her politician husband of violent behavior. In the video, Regina can be heard expressing her profound unhappiness, stating, “In Ned Nwoko's house I am nothing but in my house I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence, it is too much.”
The incident escalated as Regina's siblings publicly joined in, accusing Senator Nwoko of sending thugs to physically assault the actress. Movie producer Stanley On-Top, who initially shared the viral video, corroborated these claims, stating that thugs allegedly sent by Senator Nwoko attacked Regina. The video itself reportedly shows her brothers actively fighting off individuals believed to be the attackers, indicating a confrontational defense of Regina.
Further details emerged when Regina Daniels' brother confirmed the alleged assault, stating that the actress was beaten by her husband. In a post shared on his Instagram page, he claimed that the lawmaker allegedly beat Regina and smashed her head on the wall before taking to his heels. The brother expressed deep anger and frustration, lamenting that the world would now mock his sister for marrying a much older man, and stated he would have confronted Ned if he had encountered him on that day.
As these accusations unfolded and the video gained traction, Ned Nwoko was observed stepping out for an event with his senior wife, Laila Charani, and subsequently shared a video from the event on his Instagram account. This public appearance immediately drew comments from Nigerians, who flocked to the post to voice their opinions. Many commenters noted a pattern, suggesting that Nwoko tends to appear publicly with his senior wife whenever he faces issues with Regina, while others issued stern warnings that nothing untoward should happen to the actress.
This is not the first instance where issues within Regina Daniels' marriage to Ned Nwoko have been insinuated by her and her family. Earlier in February, Regina had deleted her husband's surname, 'Nwoko,' from her Instagram account upon returning to the platform. Her elder brother at that time had welcomed her back with a message widely interpreted as a subtle jab directed at Ned Nwoko, further highlighting a history of marital discord within the public eye.
