Manchester Synagogue Attacker Unmasked: Terrorist's Family Condemns 'Heinous Act' Amid City's Grief and Outrage

The Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester, became the scene of a horrific terror attack on October 2, Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. The atrocity resulted in the deaths of two innocent Jewish men, Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, and left three others seriously injured. The perpetrator, 35-year-old British citizen Jihad Al-Shamie, launched a car and knife attack outside the synagogue before being shot dead by armed police officers.
Tragically, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) later confirmed that one of the deceased victims, Adrian Daulby, suffered a gunshot wound believed to have been sustained accidentally from police firearms aimed at Al-Shamie. Another individual, Yoni Finlay, one of the 'heroes' who bravely helped barricade the synagogue door, also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. These injuries were a devastating, unforeseen consequence of the urgent police action taken to prevent the attacker from entering the synagogue and causing further harm. Al-Shamie was found wearing a device around his body, which was later determined to be a fake explosive belt.
