A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Dartmouth, N.S.

A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Dartmouth, N.S.

In a news release, Halifax Regional Police say they responded to the incident around 1:30 a.m. AT Sunday.

The collision happened at the intersection of Victoria Road and Frances Street. 

Police said no charges have been filed.

They are asking anyone with information to call them at 902-490-5016.
