Manchester United have signed an 11-year-old Kenyan star to their U-11 academy.

The Red Devils agreed on a deal to sign Maker Majok from his community club in England, Coach Hene Sports Club.

Coach Hene is located in East Manchester. According to their bio, it was set up in honour of Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie, who managed the Ghana Black Stars. He passed on in 2016.

The community club took to Instagram to confirm the news, describing it as inspiring.

"We are delighted to announce that Maker Majok, a member of our Under-11 Stars squad, has officially joined the prestigious @manchesterunited Academy. Maker will join United's Under-11 first team to continue his remarkable development journey, which has been truly inspiring."

Sky Sports ran the news confirming Majok was Kenyan, and he looked up to Kobbie Mainoo as his role model. The 11-year-old scored 31 goals and provided 18 assists in 20 appearances for Coach Hene. He joined the club when he was just seven years.
