Love/Hate actor and his wife announce exciting baby news
A huge congratulations are in order for Love/Hate’s Aaron Heffernan and his wife Mairead Doyle Heffernan who are set to welcome their first child together.
The Dublin actor, who played Detective Inspector Gavin Brogan in the 2010 RTÉ crime drama, has been building his career starring in several well-known shows such as Brassic and War of the Worlds. His wife Mairead is also successful in her own right as a comedian based in London.
The couple tied the knot in 2021 in London and have concentrated on their careers over the last few years.

The couple posted a picture on their social media, excited about what was in the near future for both of them.
Standing side by side, with Mairead trying to keep as cool as she can in the current heat, she said, wrote ‘Last few days as two,’ followed by a sweet baby chick.
Followers, fans and celebrities flocked to the comment section to wish the couple all the best ahead of their new arrival.

Presenter Maia Dunphy wrote ‘You look so beautiful!!’ while Bonnie Ryan used several love heart face emojis to show her excitement for the couple.
It’s not known if the couple are having a boy or a girl, but it looks like we won’t have long to find out.

At the beginning of the year, many fans of the hit drama Love Hate got very excited when John Connors, who played Patrick Ward, hinted that the series could be making a return.
Touching on his ‘Love/Hate will return’ announcement on the Six O’Clock Show that shocked the nation, the actor ‘Now, the other day what happened was I thought that [Virgin Media] got a scent that this was happening, and there was meant to be a press release coming, and I sort of spoiled the whole thing.’
‘And now the press release is not coming! But this is kind of what I do. I’m an impulsive person. I just thought it’d be fun to surprise them. You know, so it did surprise people. But people think I’m trolling, right?’ John said.
