Lone Design Club about to land in Brighton for next 'game-changing retail activation' - FashionNetwork

Lone Design Club has a history of creating pop-ups to set fledging brands on the road to (hopefully) physical retail success. And another not-so-temporary store is about to land in Brighton with the launch of  a “game-changing retail activation” called Local Hero.

Described as a “dynamic, ever-evolving pop-up space” it opens for 12 months in collaboration with Ingka Centres’ Churchill Square in June, billed as a “launchpad for the future of retail… in one of the UK’s most vibrant coastal cities”.

The fully-equipped retail destination offers brands the opportunity to host short-term activations, product launches, and experiential retail experiences in a high-footfall location. It includes a POS system, tills, and digital screens, “making it easy for brands to move in and start selling immediately”.

Over the year, the space will rotate “an exciting mix of emerging and established fashion, beauty, lifestyle and sustainable brands, offering them a unique platform to tell their stories and connect with the Brighton community”.

Rebecca Morter, founder and CEO of Lone Design club, said: “This partnership represents our commitment to fostering a thriving retail landscape where emerging brands can connect with communities and redefine the shopping experience.”

Mark Buchanan-Smith, Churchill Square Meeting Place manager, added: “This partnership reflects our commitment to fostering dynamic retail environments that enable brands to connect with communities in meaningful and innovative ways. We look forward to seeing this space evolve as a hub for creativity, discovery, and engagement.”
