Khan led a trade delegation of 27 London-based companies specialising in fintech, enterprise technology, and sustainability. He expressed his excitement about the visit and his commitment to promoting London while deepening partnerships with Nigeria.
He noted, “Africa has the world’s fastest-growing populations and is seeing major economic growth,” emphasising the potential for cooperation over the next decade. During his visit, Khan focused on trade and investment in sectors like finance, education, health, technology, and sustainability.
Additionally, he honoured Londoners of African heritage for their contributions to the city and highlighted the trip as a celebration of shared heritage and culture.
