Is Music City going Hollywood?

"9-1-1 Nashville" is the newest franchise to call the Music City home. The ABC spinoff of the popular "9-1-1" series about the lives of first-responders had Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge shut down this weekend for filming, and has also been spotted in the heart of Wedgewood Houston.

But while it's one of the more recent projects, it's definitely not the first. Increasingly, the Nashville skyline is becoming more and more prominent in film and TV as productions are moving away from Hollywood and toward the Southeast, bringing jobs, economic impact and a little bit of glitz and glamour along with them.

🏫 More than 41 kids and adults were arrested and accused of making violent threats against schools in the Metro Nashville Public School system last school year, accounting for about one in every four schools in the district.
