Legends Unite! Doja Cat, Elton John, Missy Elliott Confirmed for Star-Studded 2025 Rock Hall Induction Ceremony

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation has officially announced the initial lineup of artists and personalities set to present and perform at its 40th Annual Induction Ceremony. Slated for Saturday, November 8, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the event promises a star-studded evening featuring a mix of legendary figures and contemporary chart-toppers.
Among the presenters and performers are four artists already enshrined in the Rock Hall: Elton John, hip-hop icon Missy Elliott, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Iggy Pop of The Stooges. They will be joined by a roster of current hitmakers including Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Teddy Swims, and RAYE. Veteran television personality David Letterman is also confirmed to participate, adding a touch of classic entertainment to the evening.
For those unable to attend in person, tickets are available via AXS. The induction ceremony will be streamed live coast-to-coast on Disney+ starting at 8 p.m. ET on November 8, with on-demand streaming available shortly after. Additionally, ABC will air a primetime special featuring performance highlights and standout moments on Thursday, January 1, at 8 p.m. ET, which will be accessible for streaming on Hulu the following day.
The 2025 Induction Ceremony will honor a diverse group of artists across several categories. In the coveted Performer category, inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, OutKast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes. Musical Influence awards will be presented to Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon, while Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye are recognized for Musical Excellence. Finally, Lenny Waronker will receive the prestigious Ahmet Ertegun Award.
Complementing the ceremony, the 2025 Inductee Exhibit is scheduled to open to the public at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on October 31. This special exhibit will showcase significant artifacts from the inductees' careers. Highlights include Cyndi Lauper’s handwritten lyrics for “Time After Time,” the outfits worn by Meg and Jack White on the cover of The White Stripes’ album Icky Thump, a 1979 Gibson Les Paul electric guitar played by Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, and distinctive outfits worn by the members of OutKast, notably Andre 3000’s attire from the iconic “Hey Ya!” music video.
The initial list of presenters and performers, with more names expected to be announced, includes: Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Elton John, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Missy Elliott, Olivia Rodrigo, Questlove, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims, and Twenty One Pilots.
