Homentmen Beirut (LBL) landed experienced 34-year old American 203cm forward Dewayne Jackson (college: Morgan State). It is actually his comeback to Beirut as he has played here before. Jackson played most recently at Al-Ahli in Bahrain Premier League. In two West Asia Super League games he averaged 13.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 3.5apg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg last season.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on five different continents. Jackson is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe), Dominican Republic (San Lazaro), Kosovo (Sigal Prishtina), Saudi Arabia (Al Wehda), Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Lebanon (Beirut Club, Sagesse and Maristes), Jordan (Al Ahli), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Libya (Al Ahly Tripoli) and The Basketball Tournament (HBC Sicklerville and Gutter Cats). Jackson won Libyan League championship title in 2021 and 2022. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention back in 2017 and 2019.
Jackson graduated from Morgan State in 2013 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
