Outside the US, the finale will air in various time zones. In Canada, it airs at 9 PM on Crave. In Brazil, the episode goes live at 10 PM. For Portugal and Western Europe, it streams at 2 AM on Monday. The UK release is also at 2 AM through Sky Atlantic. Viewers in Spain and Central Europe can watch it at 3 AM, while those in Eastern Europe, including Bulgaria, can stream it at 4 AM. In India, the time is 6:30 AM, while Australia’s Binge service airs it at 11 AM. New Zealand’s Sky SoHo will release it at 1 PM.Season 2 of the show has only seven episodes. This is fewer than Season 1, which had nine episodes. Many HBO series usually include 8–10 episodes per season. Neil Druckmann, the game’s original creator, said in an interview with Game Informer that the seven-episode format fits the story better. He added that Episode 7 marks a key moment that sets the stage for Season 3.

Before the official release, some parts of the final episode were leaked. Clips started appearing on Thursday night. The leaked material included the last scene of Episode 7. Reports say some users who bought the season through Apple briefly got early access. Though the issue was fixed, some fans had already shared clips on TikTok and Twitter.
