Latest news - 14 July - 17 July: Work in Parliamentary Committees
In the week of 14 July, a large part of Members' work will be in Parliamentary Committees. During this week, committees will hear from Danish ministers on the Council Presidency priorities, including strengthening the Single Market, promoting competitive labour markets, boosting European defence and fostering social cohesion. Commissioner Serafin will present Committee on Budgets with the Commission's proposal on the Multi-annual Financial Framework. ECON and EMPL will hold an Economic Dialogue on the 2025 Spring Package. The Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will vote on new rules concerning unfair trading practices in the food supply chain. The Subcommittee on Human Rights will discuss human rights dimension of the future EU Pact for the Mediterranean. The Committee on Development will exchange views on the "Traceability of Critical Raw Materials with a focus on Africa". Follow the links below to discover this week's highlights.
