The announcement was made with the caption, "Kya aap abhi bhi vishwaas nahi kar paa rahe? 25 saal ke baad, Tulsi Virani laut rahi hai, ek nayi kahaani ke saath (Are you even not able to believe? After 25 years, Tulsi Virani is returning with a new story)!"

Who all will be a part of the reboot?
After 16 years, Smriti Irani is returning to the screen as the beloved Tulsi Virani, with Amar Upadhyay also reprising his role as Mihir Virani, bringing back one of TV’s most iconic couples. Familiar faces like Hiten Tejwani (Karan Virani), Gauri Pradhan (Nandini Virani), Sumeet Sachdev (Gautam Virani), Shakti Anand (Hemant Virani), and Kamalika Guha Thakurta (Gayatri Virani) are also expected to return. Additionally, Sandeep Baswana, Shilpa Agnihotri, and Rakshanda Khan are reportedly part of the reboot’s cast.
