Wanyama said the Kyabazinga has set a strong example for young people through education. He noted that Gabula Nadiope is earning a Master of Advanced Studies in Global Affairs from Yale University.

"This is his second master’s degree," Wanyama wrote. "His first was an MBA from Coventry University in the UK. He is also a third-year PhD student at the University of Portsmouth. Congratulations!"

The Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs is a professional school at Yale University. It opened in 2010 and is based in New Haven, Connecticut. Its aim is to prepare students for global leadership roles.

Gabula Nadiope, born on November 1, 1988, is the fourth Kyabazinga of Busoga. He became ruler after being chosen by the ten Busoga Royal Chiefs on August 23, 2014.

He grew up in Jinja under the care of his maternal grandmother. His early schooling took place at Victoria Nile, Winston Day and Boarding Primary School Kawempe, and Lohana Academy, where he studied until 2001.

He joined Busoga College Mwiri for O-Level studies in 2002, staying until 2005. He later attended Kyambogo College School for A-Level education, graduating in 2007.

In 2011, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Kyambogo University.

Gabula Nadiope comes from a long line of leaders. His father, Wilson Gabula Nadiope III, once served as Uganda's minister of tourism. His grandfather, William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Nadiope II, was both Kyabazinga and Uganda's first vice president.
