Kwara United Unveil Suleiman as New Technical Visionary

Kwara United have officially confirmed the appointment of Ashifat Suleiman as their new technical adviser, marking a pivotal moment for the Ilorin-based club. The announcement, made yesterday, formalizes a role Suleiman had already been serving in an interim capacity following the exit of former technical adviser Tunde Sanni.
During his short stint in charge, Suleiman led the team through three matches, achieving a balanced record of one win, one draw, and one lossz a performance that convinced the club’s board of his capability to guide the team forward.
In his acceptance remarks, Suleiman expressed deep gratitude for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to work collaboratively with his technical crew to deliver on the club’s ambitions. “This is an opportunity I take with great responsibility,” he said. “We will build consistency, discipline, and unity to move Kwara United higher on the table.”
Kwara United currently sit mid-table in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) standings and are eager to regain momentum as the season intensifies. The club’s next challenge comes this weekend, when they travel to Enugu to face Rangers International FC at the historic Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, a match expected to test Suleiman’s tactical acumen and the team’s resilience.
Supporters are hopeful that his tenure will bring renewed energy and a stronger sense of direction to the Harmony Boys, whose performances have shown flashes of promise under his leadership.
With Suleiman now officially steering the team, optimism in Ilorin is on the rise — and all eyes will be on Enugu this weekend to see if Kwara United’s new technical visionary can kick off his permanent reign with a statement victory.
