Kwara APC Guber Primary Rocked By Postponement Drama, Transparency Pledge Issued!

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Kwara State, initially scheduled for Thursday, were postponed until Friday due to unforeseen logistic issues. Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, the chairman of the APC governorship primaries in Kwara State, announced this decision at the party’s secretariat in Ilorin after a closed-door meeting with the party's governorship aspirants. He emphasized that the postponement was necessary to ensure fairness to all participants and to effectively manage the election process, requiring a full day for proper execution.

On Thursday evening, ten governorship aspirants attended a strategic meeting with the committee. These aspirants included Ambassador Yahaya Seriki, Dr Bashir Bolarinwa, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, Engr. Femi Sanni, Dr Tajudeen Alabi, Aisha Ahmad-Pategi, Mohammed Bio, Musiliat Bello-Adebowale, Dr Muideen Salako, and Captain Ahmad Mahmoud.
