Rob Kardashian has been easing himself back into the spotlight, as shown in happy family snaps shared over Easter, and a source exclusively tells In Touch that his mom, Kris Jenner, is offering him the opportunity to revive his TV career, fulfill himself as a businessman and make a ton of money in the process.

“Kris wants to give him a makeover, she’s pushing him to let her do it. She wants to help him look better so that he’ll feel more confident,” the insider reveals. “She fully buys into the belief that appearance is everything and she’s trying to get that message through to Rob.”

The source adds that Kris, 69, is “being kind about it and telling him about all the potential she sees in him.”

“He still talks about wanting to follow in the footsteps of their dad and Kris would love to see that, but he doesn’t even have to go that far,” the insider continues of Rob’s aspirations to make his late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., proud. “She would just love to see him living his life out and open again.”

The source says, “She believes he can be so much more and now that he’s started to take some steps in the right direction, she’s bursting with hope. Her girls are telling her to ease off and just let Rob do things at his own pace, but Kris can’t help pushing, that’s her nature.”

While Rob, 38, rose to fame alongside Kris and his sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner on their E! reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, he stepped out of the spotlight when he stopped appearing on the series in 2017. The decision came amid his public split from ex Blac Chyna, as well as his struggles after he faced scrutiny in the media.

While Rob’s personal life was once a mystery, he has slowly started to become more active in the limelight. On April 21, Kim, 44, shared several photos from their family’s Easter celebration. One of the snapshots showed Rob and his daughter, Dream, 8, posing with Kim, Khloé, 40, and Kris, as well as Kim’s kids Chicago 7, and Psalm, 6, and Khloé’s children True, 7, and Tatum, 2.

Rob subtly smiled for the camera as he wrapped his arm around Kris and he was dressed in a black T-shirt, matching shorts, a baseball cap and slippers.

Shortly after Kim shared the photos, several fans took to the comments section to express their excitement over seeing a rare photo of Rob. “Thanks for including Rob,” one person commented, and another wrote, “It was nice to Rob, he is looking cute!”

Back in December 2024, an additional insider exclusively told In Touch that Rob was focused on being the best parent he could be. “Rob lives for his little girl, Dream,” the source said. “She’s the absolute center of his world, and he spends most of his time with her either at his house or over at Khloé’s.”

It’s no secret that Rob and Khloé are close, and she previously opened up about their bond while talking to Bustle in October 2024.

“I love all my siblings, but I think with Rob, I identify with him so much. I feel so deeply what he feels — the struggles that he has, or just wanting to be out of the public eye, or just feeling like he doesn’t fit in or is being judged about his appearance,” she said about Rob amid his struggles with the attention his family’s show brought him.
