Digital Eclipse and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection at the June 2025 PlayStation State of Play. The collection will include eight titles from the beloved fighting game franchise.

Like Digital Eclipse’s recent collections, the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will include different versions of each game. For example, the arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, and 32X versions of Mortal Kombat II will be available to play. It will also feature an interactive documentary with appearances from creators Ed Boon, John Tobias, Dan Forden, and John Vogel.

Here are all the games included in Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection:

“Mortal Kombat irrevocably altered the cultural landscape of video games. It was audacious, shocking, and unflinching. It marked a seismic shift in interactive entertainment, pulling the industry into a more provocative, mature direction that continues to influence game design and cultural discourse over three decades later,” said Mike Mika, Studio Head at Digital Eclipse. “With Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, we set out not just to preserve its legacy, but to contextualize it – inviting players to experience its origins, trace its evolution, and appreciate the bold vision that transformed it into a global icon. For us, this project is both tribute and testament.”

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection launches in 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A specific date has not yet been announced.
