Kenya Institute of Mass Communication Announces Jobs for Casuals: "KCSE D-"

The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) has advertised 19 vacancies for casual workers.

KIMC's vacant positions include jobs for cooks, cleaners, gardeners and housekeepers.

In an advert published on its website, the institution asked interested and suitable candidates to submit their applications by Friday, April 11.

The state-owned institution said successful candidates will be offered three-month contracts.

"The institute wishes to recruit casual workers for a period of not more than three months for the following positions: Hospitality (cooks, housekeepers, cleaners and gardeners), maintenance (artisans i.e. carpenter, electrician, welder and plumber) and casual secretaries," it stated.

    KIMC director and chief executive officer (CEO) Peter Wakoli asked applicants to submit their CVs and certificates to his office.

    "Hand-delivered applications should reach the director's office on or before Friday, April 11," Wakoli said.

    The institution is located along Shikanga Road in Nairobi.

    In other news, the Kisii county government declared 110 jobs for professionals in diverse fields.

    The devolved unit requested that interested candidates submit their resumes by April 23 after announcing the open vacancies on social media.

    Medical officers, registered nurses, and registered clinical officers are among the available positions.

    Elsewhere, the National Youth Service (NYS) advertised 50 jobs for its graduates in the UAE.

    The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) also invited applications to fill 66 vacancies for field interviewers.
