Kenya Airways, the pride of Africa, has been forced to respond after an embarassing exposé on social media.

Being one of Africa's most renowned airlines, many would expect that their luxury and customer experience is unmatched, but it seems there are areas to improve on.
X influencer George T. Diano (@georgediano) exposed the poor state of Kenya Airways planes, even sharing a photo as proof.
Diano was one of the passengers on a flight from Mombasa to Nairobi, and he was not impressed with what he saw.
Sharing a photo on X, he showed the poor state of some of the seats on the flight, which clearly showed a far cry from what is expected.
One could tell that the seats were past their 'expiration date', which was clear in how worn-out and discoloured they looked.
In his caption, Diano was subtle, using a sarcastic manner to pass across his message. He wrote:
"Ladies & Gentlemen, I welcome you to KQ flight to Nairobi from Mombasa," he wrote.
In their response, Kenya Airways acknowledged that their seats had seen better days and had stories to tell.
However, they noted that they were working on a plan and that renovations would happen soon.
"Hey @georgediano, Looks like those seats have some stories to tell! New look coming soon 😉 #IFlyKQ," the airline wrote.
Here are some of the reactions to the post:
