KeNHA announces temporary closure of section of Mombasa Road

Published 9 hours ago1 minute read

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption on Mombasa Road near Syokimau Railway Station to allow for the installation of the fabricated footbridge beams of the Syokimau Railway Footbridge.

In a notice issued on Saturday, the traffic disruption will occur from Saturday, July at midnight to Sunday, July 13.

During the period, motorists heading past Gateway Mall to Mlolongo and beyond will be unable to access the section.

Further, areas around Syokimau Railway Station, Teco Mall and nearby access points will be affected.

However, motorists will still be able to use the Nairobi-bound lanes along Mombasa Road.

KeNHA advised motorists to cooperate with police and traffic marshals on site to ensure smooth traffic flow.
