Both women landed 70 shots apiece (140 total) in a far more measured fight than their bar-burning bouts in 2022 and 2024.

Taylor and Serrano landed the same number of punches

Final punch stats from Netflix show Serrano landed more jabs (21 to 13), but Taylor found a home for more power punches (57 to 49).

The Irishwoman was also more accurate with her work, landing 30% of her 231 shots as opposed to Serrano's 18.3% punch-connection rate from 382 blows.

In the end, it was enough to earn Taylor the majority decision, with two judges scoring the fight 97-93 in her favour, while the third had it 95-95 even.

Taylor's triumph widens the margin to 3-0 in her rivalry with Serrano, thus putting to bed talk of a fourth meeting.

The 39-year-old is now contemplating retirement after successfully defending her undisputed super lightweight titles for a second time.

When asked whether she will box again, Taylor said: "I don't know.

"I'm just going to enjoy this victory right now and sit back and reflect.

"After that, I will make a decision soon.

" I'm very happy about tonight's performance.

"The amount of preparation, myself and Ross [Enamait] (Taylor's coach), it was a gruelling few months of preparation for these kinds of fights.

"So I'm just so happy I could showcase what I could do tonight."

A rubber match with WBC mandatory Chantelle Cameron remains on the table.

However, Taylor doesn't seem particularly interested in locking horns with the Brit again.

"I think Chantelle needs to see if she can sell out a 1000-seater arena first," laughed Taylor.

"I don't think she can sell out any stadium at all.

"I think I made her more money than she really deserves, to be honest."
