Katie Price Sparks Debate After Naming Alleged Rapist on British Television

During a recent live show as part of her UK tour, 'An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona', British TV personality Katie Price made a shocking revelation, naming a famous individual whom she claims sexually assaulted her over two decades ago. The 47-year-old star, known for her candidness, left audiences utterly shocked in Stockport this week by identifying the man, despite having previously stated in 2009, 2012, and 2017 that she would never publicly reveal his identity.
The alleged incident, which Price claims occurred more than twenty years ago, had been a subject she discussed in the past without disclosing the alleged perpetrator's name. In 2012, Surrey Police addressed claims made by Price regarding the alleged rape by a fellow British star. At the time, they confirmed that they would not be investigating the claims, citing a lack of a formal statement from Miss Price and unsubstantiated information, particularly concerning the locations and dates of any allegations. A spokesperson for Surrey Police emphasized their commitment to taking all reports of sexual offences seriously and encouraged victims to come forward. They noted that due to the very historic nature of the incident, they were dependent on Price's cooperation to formally record a crime and continue any investigation, adding that any new information would be diligently investigated.
The ongoing UK tour, where Price is joined by her close friend Kerry Katona who is an English television personality and former singer, has been characterized by the duo sharing intimate details, shocking confessions, and candid revelations about their personal lives. These performances have provided a platform for Price to delve into her past, culminating in this recent, significant disclosure.
Beyond the serious revelations, the tour has also seen its share of logistical challenges. During a gig at Whitley Bay's Playhouse, Katie Price arrived over two hours late, initially joining the event via video while still travelling. She informed the crowd she would arrive at 9:18 pm but was ultimately 20 minutes late. The show was reportedly postponed for 30 minutes due to 'technical difficulties', and an audience member noted that the sound was 'very quiet' and 'unclear'. Price later explained her lateness was due to needing to be at home to care for her son, Harvey. Upon her arrival, she performed her song, 'I Got U'. The show concluded around 10:20 pm, with fans who purchased Meet and Greet tickets having the opportunity to meet both Katie and Kerry.
