Kathy Kiuna Honours Late Husband with Glowing Tribute: "Continue the Legacy"

Reverend Kathy Kiuna of the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) has been honouring the memory of her late husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna, in deeply personal and public ways.

The JCC preacher took to social media to commemorate the return of the Men’s Breakfast, a platform that had been dear to Bishop Allan, aimed at empowering and guiding men in the church.

While reflecting on the emotional weight of relaunching the event without her husband, Kathy shared a powerful message honouring his impact.

“I am so grateful that God raised my husband to raise powerful men and that his legacy continues even after his transition. Whilst it's hard for me to relaunch the men's breakfast, I am honoured to walk in the footsteps of my husband together with my sons and spiritual children as we continue on the legacy of empowering men. It’s time to man up," she wrote.

She also posted a video from the event, which featured symbolic construction props and other moments from the gathering, elements she said were carefully chosen to reflect what her late husband stood for.

“This right here brings all sorts of feelings. Going for men’s breakfast this morning to launch it from where my husband left. The memories of how he’d be so excited preparing to speak to them and how impactful he was. The way he raised solid men that now have their own men’s ministries. The legacy he left that will never die. I’m just so honoured to have been the wife of a great General. Weeping but moving. Let’s do this.”

Bishop Allan Kiuna passed away on July 9, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

Since then, Kathy has continued to celebrate his life and contributions to the church.
