Rob Kardashian has officially made his return to reality television, marking a significant moment after an eight-year absence from the spotlight. The 38-year-old made a surprise appearance in the season seven premiere of The Kardashians in October 2025, which was his first major on-camera moment since he stepped away from reality TV in 2017. This comeback suggests a positive shift in Rob's personal journey and his comfort with public life.
His sister, Kim Kardashian, clarified that Rob’s reappearance was not an isolated incident but rather a clear sign of his improved mental state. During an October 28 appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy with Andy Cohen, Kim explained, “If he’s in the mood and in a good headspace to know that he wants to put himself out there,” then “He’s so down.” She further described him as “great and silly” and emphasized that his decision to step back was a personal choice to “just want to chill a little bit.” Kim also revealed that Rob “feels good” about his return, particularly regarding an emotional segment filmed at their mother Kris Jenner’s old home, affirming that “He wants to be on.”
For Kim and her sisters—Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie—having Rob back on the show is a special occasion, but they maintain a supportive environment without any pressure for him to stay in front of the cameras.
