After a series of delays, Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and entrepreneur Maheep Kapoor, is finally set to make her silver screen debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, slated for release on July 11, 2025. On July 1, the makers unveiled the film's trailer, marking Shanaya’s official entry into the world of cinema.

Reacting to the trailer, filmmaker Karan Johar extended his warm wishes to the debutante. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Johar shared the trailer of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan along with a heartfelt message: “A heartfelt love story with the promise of deep and solid emotion. Shanaya, you’re so gorgeously sincere and make every frame come alive… Vikrant… you are so amazing and have immersed yourself into the part!!! Badhai ho Sandy!! Can’t wait to watch!”

He concluded his note with a special welcome: “Welcome to the movies, Shanaya!” followed by a string of heart emojis.
