TV 47 reported that the girl was allegedly killed by her boyfriend at a rental house on Monday, July 14.

Preliminary investigations by the police show that the suspect fled to Uganda moments after committing the heinous crime.

According to locals, the couple, both believed to be Ugandans, had rented the house just a day before the heartbreaking incident.

The girl's mother became concerned about the whereabouts of her daughter when she heard unverified news that the boy had allegedly taken his own life.

Out of curiosity, the woman called her relatives in Kakamega to enquire about the well-being of her daughter.

Like any other mother, she expected to receive good news. Sadly, she was informed how the man she considered her in-law had killed her daughter.

Police are trying to establish the circumstances leading to the teenager's death, and they are awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

Security agencies in Kakamega have called on the residents to remain calm as investigations into the murder incident continue.

Police have urged residents to heighten vigilance in rental properties, especially where minors are involved.

In a related incident, a Nairobi family was left devastated by the death of their daughter, who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend on the night of Saturday, May 10.

The woman identified as Sharon Kate was murdered on the night of Saturday, May 10.

According to preliminary investigations, a night confrontation between Sharon and her boyfriend led to the tragic incident.

Speaking to Paxson TV, a sister of the deceased narrated that she spent the better part of the week with Sharon, and she did not inform her about any issues with her boyfriend.

Police launched a manhunt for the suspect who took off after he allegedly committed the heinous act.

In other sad news, a nurse who went missing in Naivasha was found murdered, and her body was buried outside her house.

According to the police report, Jane Wambui Njoroge, a nurse at Naivasha County Referral Hospital, went missing on Friday, July 4.

Naivasha Sub-County Police Commander Anthony Keter disclosed that Wambui's decomposing body was found after the arrest of the main suspect, Mary Chebet.

Chebet was Jane's househelp at the time she allegedly committed the crime.
