K-Pop Sensation ROSÉ Set to Make History with Groundbreaking 2026 Grammy Awards Performance

The 2026 Grammy Awards are poised to mark a significant milestone with BLACKPINK member ROSÉ slated to perform, making her the first solo K-pop artist to grace Music’s Biggest Night. At 28 years old, ROSÉ is also a prominent nominee, securing three Grammy nominations for "APT.," her chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars. This global hit is recognized in major categories including record of the year, song of the year, and best pop duo/group performance. While not officially announced, Bruno Mars is also likely to perform at the prestigious event.
This historic solo performance by ROSÉ builds upon the precedent set by K-pop group BTS, who previously performed at the Grammys. BTS participated in an elaborate rendition of Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus's "Old Town Road" in 2020, and later received their own dedicated performance segments for "Dynamite" in 2021 and "Butter" in 2022. Both "Dynamite" and "Butter" earned nominations for best pop duo/group performance.
The 68th annual Grammy Awards will feature a diverse and star-studded lineup of performers. KATSEYE, a global girl group, is scheduled for an extended segment that will highlight all eight best new artist nominees. KATSEYE’s international roster includes members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the U.S. Other confirmed performers include Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Andrew Watt, Brandy Clark, Chad Smith, Clipse, Duff McKagan, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Lukas Nelson, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Olivia Dean, Pharrell Williams, Post Malone, Reba McEntire, Sabrina Carpenter, Slash, sombr, and The Marías. Further performer announcements are anticipated in the lead-up to the ceremony.
Comedian Trevor Noah is set to return as host for his sixth consecutive, and final, year. This achievement places Noah in the esteemed company of crooner Andy Williams, who hosted the first seven live Grammy telecasts from 1971 to 1977, making Noah the first person since Williams to host six consecutive ceremonies.
The 2026 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 1, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. Viewers can also stream the event live and on demand via Paramount+. The production for the Recording Academy is handled by Fulwell Entertainment, with Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins, and Trevor Noah serving as executive producers.
