Justin Liles: More rain tonight and possible flooding - WDIO.com

Published 1 day ago2 minute read

A juiced atmosphere is ideal for heavy rain and thunderstorms. Nearly all of the Northland is under a flood watch until 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Heavy rain continues to fall over the same areas as a slow-moving cold front passes through, igniting these storms. Flooding is going to be the biggest concern through the rest of the evening and possibly Wednesday. The showers on Wednesday will be due to lingering wrap-around moisture. Rain will create thick fog overnight too.

Highs on Wednesday are expected to drop. Highs on Wednesday will likely be in the mid to upper 50s for the entire region. Sunshine returns on Thursday as temperatures begin to climb. We will see another shot of some rain late Friday to early Saturday, but the weekend looks great by Saturday afternoon and evening.
