The final deadline for entries into the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards program is June 13, less than two weeks away.

The annual showcase is an opportunity for stakeholders in senior living, skilled nursing and home care to demonstrate leadership and outside-the-box thinking when it comes to today’s tech. Submissions can detail devices and programs of a wide range of cost and complexity.

Like last year, providers and vendors have up to 16 categories in which they may enter:

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be bestowed in categories as warranted.

Nominations may be submitted by either long-term care providers or vendor companies serving the industry, but most entries should include both a long-term care provider and a vendor company that worked with the provider. A national, independent panel of judges will adjudicate entries. Entrants should provide as much quantitative information as possible, to help judges understand the impacts of an entry.

Finalists will be announced Aug. 5, with winners unveiled during the virtual McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit in September. The event’s accompanying virtual summit will offer educational content that will enable providers to further their operational successes. Details of the agenda will be forthcoming.

Winners will be recognized across McKnight’s Senior Living, McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and McKnight’s Home Care websites, newsletters and print magazines as well as their social media platforms.
