Get ready for the tiger kings.

Actors Jude Law and Andrew Garfield will portray late magicians Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn, respectively, in an upcoming limited series for Apple TV+ called Wild Things.

The streamer announced Monday that it had picked up the project, based on Apple's podcast Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, to series. That 2022 audio project features Horn being attacked by a tiger during a show early on and delves into what exactly happened there, as well as exploring the duo's rise to fame.

On TV, viewers will see eight, one-hour episodes on "the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history, who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination," according to the official description of the show. "The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show."

A major tragedy Siegfried and Roy faced during their partnership occurred on Oct. 3 2003, when Horn was attacked by a 400-pound white tiger during a performance in Las Vegas. Roy was nearly killed in the accident and struggled with his health afterward as a result, before dying of complications from COVID-19 in 2020 at 75.

Fischbacher died of pancreatic cancer in January 2021 at 81.

In addition to depicting the performers, Law and Garfield will also executive produce. John Hoffman, who co-created and serves as showrunner of Only Murders in the Building will be showrunner here. He'll also write and executive produce, alongside a team that includes Matt Shakman (WandaVision and the upcoming Fantastic Four) and Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind and Arrested Development).

Another of Law's upcoming projects includes the movie The Wizards of the Kremlin, in which he plays Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Garfield, meanwhile, will costar with Julia Roberts, Chloë Sevigny, and Ayo Edebiri in October's crime drama After the Hunt.
