The immediate impact of this readiness is evident in the registration of 736 patients, with 150 individuals currently awaiting various surgical interventions. This rapid patient engagement underscores the pressing regional demand for specialized orthopaedic care and highlights the hospital's robust capacity to meet these needs effectively.

The medical director further emphasized that this remarkable progress was achieved through collaborative efforts. He acknowledged the invaluable inter-agency and intergovernmental partnerships, specifically recognizing the pivotal support from the Plateau State Government, the Federal Ministry of Health, and the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH). Professor Onche also extended profound gratitude to Plateau State Governor Barr.
