Renowned DJ and producer John Summit is set to launch his first-ever Ibiza residency in 2026, taking over Monday nights at [UNVRS]. The nine-date run, titled Experts Only after Summit’s own record label, will take place from June 1 to July 27, marking a major milestone in his rapidly rising career on the world’s most iconic dance music island.
The residency underscores Summit’s continued ascent within the global electronic music scene, positioning him alongside some of the industry’s most established names in Ibiza’s competitive summer calendar.
‘Experts Only’ Comes to Ibiza
Summit expressed immense enthusiasm for the announcement, revealing that from the moment he first experienced [UNVRS], he knew it was the perfect home for Experts Only. He praised the venue’s cutting-edge sound system, immersive production, and unmatched energy, describing it as unlike anything else on the island.
Bringing his brand to what he considers the premier venue in the world’s dance music capital represents a long-held ambition for Summit. He promised an uncompromising, high-impact experience for fans throughout June and July, emphasizing that the residency will fully embody the ethos of Experts Only.
A Landmark Season at [UNVRS]
Summit joins an elite roster of artists confirmed for [UNVRS]’s 2026 season. Global superstar David Guetta will headline Friday nights from June 19 to October 2, while Spanish party institution Elrow and techno icon Carl Cox will both take over Sundays, with Cox’s residency running from June 21 to October 4.
The venue itself debuted to widespread acclaim last season, quickly earning a reputation as one of Ibiza’s most advanced clubs. Its opening campaign featured a headline residency from Eric Prydz, who unveiled his groundbreaking Holosphere 2.0 production. Founded by Yann Pissenem and operated by The Night League—the team behind Hï and Ushuaïa—[UNVRS] has rapidly established itself as a centerpiece of the island’s nightlife.
Meanwhile, Summit’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. Since making regular Ibiza appearances in 2022, he has continued scaling up to increasingly large venues worldwide. His 2025 highlights included a stadium show at Folsom Field in Boulder, a headlining slot at AustinCity Limits, and the successful debut of the Experts Only Festival, which is set to return to New York City this fall.
